Rural development: support by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD)

This dossier concerns rural development support by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD). The amendments address an additional Community contribution under the European Economic Recovery Plan split between 'new challenges' and broadband internet infrastructure in rural areas, EAFRD co-financing rates for convergence and non-convergence regions, preserving or creating rural jobs and supporting young farmers, economic-crisis management in agriculture, consultation of regional authorities, and recoverable VAT.
