Follow-up of the energy efficiency national action plans: a first assessment

The dossier is an own-initiative report following up the energy efficiency national action plans. Amendments concern making the 20% energy efficiency objective binding, Member States' action plans, energy savings in residential buildings, security of energy supply and import dependence, financial incentives and support, the energy performance of buildings directive, smart metering, and emissions from cars.
