Summary
A proposed measure on the labelling of tyres with respect to fuel efficiency and other essential parameters. The amendments rework provisions on the label's components, including rolling resistance, wet grip and external rolling noise, a traffic-light scheme for noise, an EU tyre labelling website and fuel savings calculator, definitions such as off-road professional and snow tyres, and responsibilities of the Commission, manufacturers, suppliers and distributors.
