Mid-term review of the European environment and health action plan 2004 - 2010

An own-initiative report on the mid-term review of the European environment and health action plan 2004-2010. The amendments address links between pollution and health, indoor and outdoor air quality, chemicals, electromagnetic waves and nanoparticles, respiratory illnesses and cancers, biological monitoring, climate change and disease, the precautionary principle and shifting the burden of proof onto producers, with criticism that the action plan was downgraded to a research plan.
