Summary

The dossier is the annual report on the activities of the European Ombudsman for 2024. Amendments recall the Ombudsman's role in transparency, accountability, access to documents and maladministration under the Treaties and the Charter, and reference inquiries into the Commission's use of AI, Council corporate sponsorships, advisory-group composition, industry-only pesticide workshops, conflicts of interest and delays in chemical authorisations.
