Summary

An own-initiative report on the situation of fundamental rights in the European Union in 2024 and 2025. The amendments add and delete references to instruments and bodies including the Charter of Fundamental Rights, the rights of crime victims, protection of journalists and human rights defenders, equal treatment, an LGBTIQ equality strategy, combating antisemitism, the Convention against Torture, the European Court of Human Rights and the UN Convention against Corruption.
