Summary

An own-initiative report on a new vision for the European Universities alliances. The amendments address quality education and academic and scientific cooperation as prerequisites for European strategic autonomy, fighting skills shortages and competitiveness with leading global universities, a possible joint European degree, the role of Erasmus+ and Horizon Europe, reports by Draghi, Letta and Heitor, and the creation of joint curricula and inter-university campuses.
