Summary

Own-initiative report on the 2023 and 2024 Commission reports on Türkiye. The amendments revise references to European Council and enlargement conclusions, the Turkey Negotiating Framework and Copenhagen criteria, normalisation of relations with Member States including Cyprus, and the EU-Turkey Readmission Agreement, and rework the passage on Türkiye hosting around 3.4 million refugees, including Syrians, and the EU's contribution of close to EUR 10 billion since 2011.
