Collection of statistical information by the European Central Bank
A proposal on the collection of statistical information by the European Central Bank, amending Council Regulation (EC) No 2533/98. Amendments address minimising the reporting burden through digital solutions including artificial intelligence and the risks it raises for transparency, bias, security and privacy, integrating climate-related, environmental and sustainability data into the ESCB's statistics, the confidentiality regime and sharing of confidential statistical information with other parties and with researchers.
