Summary

This procedure revises sustainability-related disclosures in the financial services sector (SFDR) and key information documents for packaged retail and insurance-based investment products (PRIIPs). The amendments build a standardised product categorisation (with a transition category and an ESG basics category) and disclosures for retail investors, set Taxonomy-alignment thresholds, and define exclusions covering hard coal, lignite, oil, gas and nuclear activities, while addressing engagement strategies, European Green Bonds and multi-option products.
