Summary

Amendments to the recommendation on terminating the Voluntary Partnership Agreement between the European Union and the Republic of Liberia on Forest Law Enforcement Governance and Trade in timber products. Competing amendments ask the Committee on International Trade to recommend either approval or rejection of the draft Council decision, and ask Parliament either to give or to refuse its consent to the termination of the agreement.
