European fisheries and aquaculture statistics

This procedure concerns European fisheries and aquaculture statistics. The amendments repeatedly stress minimising the administrative and financial burden on Member States and respondents (including SMEs), allowing exemptions, derogations and the reuse of equivalent national data sources only with the Member State's prior agreement, and adding data on recreational fisheries, sensitive and invasive species, aquafeed, socio-economic variables and criminal offences relating to fishing and IUU rules.
