Summary

An own-initiative report on the European Semester for economic policy coordination 2025. The amendments debate fiscal discipline, public debt and excessive deficits, structural reforms, investment gaps and joint borrowing, new own resources and the next MFF, the European Pillar of Social Rights and the social dimension, defence and green and digital transition spending, and Parliament's democratic role, citing the Draghi report and the Recovery and Resilience Facility.
