Summary

This dossier concerns possibilities for simplification of cohesion funds. The amendments debate cohesion policy as the EU's investment tool to reduce social, territorial and economic disparities, administrative burdens on managing authorities and beneficiaries, the 2021-2027 programming period, simplified cost options, the Multiannual Financial Framework, the role of regional and local authorities, the green transition, rule-of-law conditionality, and a 'do not harm cohesion' principle.
