Summary

This own-initiative report addresses the Commission's 2024 Rule of Law report. The amendments debate adding a pillar on combating discrimination, integrating reactive tools such as Article 7 TEU procedures and the conditionality mechanism, embedding rule-of-law milestones in funding instruments such as the RRF, the situation in Hungary, and protection of LGBTQIA+ and minority rights.
