Summary

This own-initiative dossier addresses the European Semester for economic policy coordination and the employment and social priorities for 2024. The amendments reference the European Pillar of Social Rights, the European Social Charter, minimum income recommendations, the macroeconomic imbalance procedure and stability and growth pact, cost-of-living and energy price pressures, the digital and green (twin) transitions and a just transition, regional disparities, labour shortages, and Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine.
