Summary

An own-initiative report on the gender aspects of the rising cost of living and the impact of the energy crisis. The amendments revise recitals on inflation driven by high energy and food prices and the war in Ukraine, the gender pay and pension gaps, energy and housing poverty disproportionately affecting women, precarious and part-time work, unpaid care, public services, the electricity market and VAT on energy.
