Summary

This is the annual report on competition policy for 2023. The amendments address competition policy in the single market and against concentration and market power, State aid and the Temporary Crisis and Transition Framework including the 'matching clause', the response to the US Inflation Reduction Act, links with the European Green Deal, industrial policy and SMEs, and the independence of competition authorities.
