EU framework for the social and professional situation of artists and workers in the cultural and creative sectors
This legislative-initiative report seeks an EU framework for the social and professional situation of artists and workers in the cultural and creative sectors. Amendments reference TFEU articles, the European Pillar of Social Rights and the social security coordination Regulation, and address abusive 'buy-out' and work-for-hire contracts imposed by video-on-demand platforms applying third-country law to circumvent EU rules protecting authors, plus collective management organisations remunerating creators.

Plenary votes
17 roll-call votesIn plenary, Parliament usually votes in steps: first on amendments to the text (sometimes split into parts, so Members can accept one half of a sentence and reject the other), then on the text as a whole. The “main vote” is the one that adopts or rejects the text itself. Each vote below shows exactly which step it was. How voting works →
