Summary

This annual report concerns the situation of fundamental rights in the European Union for 2022 and 2023. The amendments reference instruments and bodies including the European Convention on Human Rights, the Racial Equality Directive, FRA reports, the Istanbul Convention and the Council of Europe, and address Roma equality, hate crimes against LGBTIQ+ people, minority rights, and Article 7(1) TEU hearings on Poland and Hungary.
