Implementation of the EU-Canada Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA)
An own-initiative report on the implementation of the EU-Canada Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA). The amendments dispute how to characterise the agreement, note increases in bilateral agri-food and wine trade, stress geographical indications and their enforcement, sanitary, phytosanitary and veterinary standards, the Canadian tariff-rate-quota system for dairy, concerns over pesticides banned in the EU, outermost regions, and EU-Canada cooperation on sustainability and climate in agriculture.
