EU/Chile Advanced Framework Agreement
A recommendation on consent to the EU/Chile Advanced Framework Agreement, a modernised trade relationship. Amendments, one calling for rejection, debate the trade and sustainable development chapter, its lack of sanctions and mirror clauses, the Paris Agreement and ILO conventions, indigenous and peasant rights, water scarcity and drought from export-oriented agriculture and mining, the elimination of tariffs leaving 99.9% of EU exports tariff-free, tariff-rate quotas for beef, sheep meat, poultry and pork, and the Trade and Gender chapter.

Plenary votes
11 roll-call votesIn plenary, Parliament usually votes in steps: first on amendments to the text (sometimes split into parts, so Members can accept one half of a sentence and reject the other), then on the text as a whole. The “main vote” is the one that adopts or rejects the text itself. Each vote below shows exactly which step it was. How voting works →
