Summary

A regulation establishing the Union Customs Code and the European Union Customs Authority. The amendments address customs duties as an own resource for the Union budget, the Authority's seat, budget and Management Board, prevention of conflicts of interest and gender balance, the Executive Director's appointment and accountability to the European Parliament and Council, and the transfer of proceeds of non-criminal pecuniary sanctions to the EU budget and Member States.
