Framework of measures for strengthening Europe’s net-zero technology products manufacturing ecosystem (Net Zero Industry Act)
The Net Zero Industry Act, a framework of measures for strengthening Europe's net-zero technology products manufacturing ecosystem, is handled under the ordinary legislative procedure, where Parliament and the Council of the EU decide together to adopt binding EU law. It was examined by many committees including Industry, Research and Energy, Internal Market and Consumer Protection, and International Trade, under the subjects of industrial policy and environmental policy. The amendments define net-zero technologies, set sustainability and resilience criteria in public procurement while stressing these should not favour national suppliers over other Member States' suppliers, address State aid, a single national or federal permit-granting authority, net-zero strategic project recognition, and net-zero industry academies and credentials. It shares subjects such as industrial policy with related files including A New Industrial Strategy for Europe.

Plenary votes
14 roll-call votesIn plenary, Parliament usually votes in steps: first on amendments to the text (sometimes split into parts, so Members can accept one half of a sentence and reject the other), then on the text as a whole. The “main vote” is the one that adopts or rejects the text itself. Each vote below shows exactly which step it was. How voting works →

Milestones are the votes that adopt or reject text (not every amendment vote) — the percentage is the share of the group’s Members behind that position. Click a column heading to open the vote below.
