Own-initiative report on generational renewal in the EU farms of the future. The amendments revise recitals citing statistics on the age structure of farm managers, the decline in the number of farms, the share of young, women and trained farmers, land abandonment and concentration, farm income, access to land and financing, the role of the common agricultural policy and direct payments, and links to food security and strategic autonomy.
