Rapporteur (the Member appointed to lead Parliament's work on this text): VONDRA Alexandr (ECR)
Summary

This dossier concerns the type-approval of motor vehicles and engines with respect to their emissions and battery durability (Euro 7). Amendments address consolidating the Euro 6 and Euro VI rules into a single regulation, real-driving (RDE) testing, non-exhaust emissions from tyres and brakes, traction-battery durability, anti-tampering and odometer protection, an environmental vehicle passport, CO2-neutral fuels, flexibility for small-volume manufacturers, and deferred application dates.

92 roll-call votes

In plenary, Parliament usually votes in steps: first on amendments to the text (sometimes split into parts, so Members can accept one half of a sentence and reject the other), then on the text as a whole. The “main vote” is the one that adopts or rejects the text itself. Each vote below shows exactly which step it was. How voting works →
