Protection of workers from asbestos
The dossier concerns the protection of workers from asbestos. Amendments extend the directive's scope to at-risk professions such as renovation and demolition workers, waste managers, miners and firefighters, address occupational and non-occupational passive exposure (noting women's particular vulnerability), reject the 'sporadic and low intensity exposure' concept, revise the occupational exposure limit value and measurement methods including electron microscopy, set sampling requirements, and keep asbestos out of the circular economy.

Plenary votes
1 roll-call votesIn plenary, Parliament usually votes in steps: first on amendments to the text (sometimes split into parts, so Members can accept one half of a sentence and reject the other), then on the text as a whole. The “main vote” is the one that adopts or rejects the text itself. Each vote below shows exactly which step it was. How voting works →
