Summary

The dossier amends the Renewable Energy, Energy Performance of Buildings and Energy Efficiency Directives under REPowerEU. Amendments invoke the European Green Deal, reference Russia's invasion of Ukraine and the COVID-19 pandemic, and address renewables go-to areas, permit-granting procedures, environmental impact assessment, the Aarhus Convention, bioenergy and biomethane, farmers, solar installations on buildings and farms, repowering, and a renewables share of at least 45% by 2030.
