Chips Act
The dossier is a proposed regulation establishing a framework of measures for strengthening Europe's semiconductor ecosystem (Chips Act). The amendments revise the framework's objectives on resilience and competitiveness, common standards and certification for green, trusted and secure chips in consultation with the European Semiconductor Board, and monitoring, risk assessment and mapping of undertakings by national competent authorities. One committee calls for rejection.
