Summary

A recommendation to the Council, Commission and High Representative on the Horn of Africa. Amendments add citations and recitals covering the region's countries (Somalia, Ethiopia, Sudan, Kenya, Uganda, Eritrea, South Sudan, Djibouti), drought, food insecurity, locust invasion, jihadist terrorism and conflict, LGBTIQ rights, female genital mutilation, the African Union missions AMISOM/ATMIS, EUNAVFOR Atalanta, the war in Ukraine's effects, China's presence, the Renaissance dam, and the EU Trust Fund.
