An own-initiative report on the implementation of Article 17 of the Common Fisheries Policy Regulation. The amendments concern the allocation of fishing opportunities by Member States using transparent and objective environmental, social and economic criteria, the principle of relative stability, small-scale and artisanal fisheries, incentives for selective and low-impact fishing gear, and reporting to the Commission, citing STECF assessments.
