Subjects: 2020 discharge
Rapporteur (the Member appointed to lead Parliament's work on this text): GARCÍA MUÑOZ Isabel (S&D)
Summary

This dossier is the 2020 discharge for the European External Action Service. The amendments address the EEAS's role in conducting EU external policy, staffing levels and gender and geographical imbalances, reservations affecting declarations of assurance, the network of Union Delegations, and efforts against foreign disinformation including the StratCom division. They raise public diplomacy, building costs, security investments, and disputed spending such as a study-tours tender.

Plenary votes

4 roll-call votes

In plenary, Parliament usually votes in steps: first on amendments to the text (sometimes split into parts, so Members can accept one half of a sentence and reject the other), then on the text as a whole. The “main vote” is the one that adopts or rejects the text itself. Each vote below shows exactly which step it was. How voting works →
