Summary

This dossier concerns the 2020 discharge for the general budget of the EU, European Council and Council. The amendments criticise the Council's refusal to cooperate in the discharge procedure, call for separating the European Council and Council budgets, and address transparency of the Council's legislative process, the European Ombudsman's recommendations, gender balance, Presidency sponsorship, and the administrative nature of the budget; Parliament postpones its discharge decision.
