2021/2079(INI)·9th term·AGRI / REGI·INI - Own-initiative procedure·CompletedProcedure completed
Rapporteur (the Member appointed to lead Parliament's work on this text): OMARJEE Younous (GUE/NGL)
Summary

This own-initiative report addresses islands and cohesion policy. Amendments stress the agri-food sector's importance for islands and outermost regions, highlight handicaps such as remoteness, insularity, small holdings and competition from third countries, reference the Farm to Fork strategy and COVID-19 supply difficulties, and call on the Commission to maintain funding through programmes for the outermost regions and smaller Aegean islands (POSEI) and to support territorial development.

1 roll-call votes

In plenary, Parliament usually votes in steps: first on amendments to the text (sometimes split into parts, so Members can accept one half of a sentence and reject the other), then on the text as a whole. The “main vote” is the one that adopts or rejects the text itself. Each vote below shows exactly which step it was. How voting works →
