Summary

The dossier concerns a new EU-China strategy. The amendments address the EU-China human rights dialogue, forced labour and the situation of the Uyghurs in Xinjiang, Hong Kong, freedom of religion, China's role as economic competitor and systemic rival, its foreign-policy initiatives such as the Belt and Road Initiative, and restrictive measures against human rights violations.
