The EU Gender Action Plan III

2021/2003(INI)·9th term·AFET / BUDG / DEVE / FEMM / INTA·INI - Own-initiative procedure·CompletedProcedure completed
Rapporteur (the Member appointed to lead Parliament's work on this text): ZACHAROPOULOU Chrysoula (Renew)
Summary

The own-initiative report concerns the EU Gender Action Plan III (GAP III). The amendments focus on gender equality in EU trade policy, including specific gender chapters in trade and investment agreements, gender-disaggregated data and impact assessments, ILO conventions, the WTO and the Buenos Aires Declaration, the impact of COVID-19 on women and MSMEs, and women's empowerment in third countries; some amendments instead reject or qualify gender chapters in trade agreements.

103 roll-call votes

In plenary, Parliament usually votes in steps: first on amendments to the text (sometimes split into parts, so Members can accept one half of a sentence and reject the other), then on the text as a whole. The “main vote” is the one that adopts or rejects the text itself. Each vote below shows exactly which step it was. How voting works →
