Summary

Own-initiative report on shaping Europe's digital future, the digital single market and the use of AI for consumers. Amendments stress closing the gap with the US and China for a data-driven economy, an ethical data economy, digital transition aligned with the Paris Agreement and the Green Deal, open technologies, portability and interoperability, and multilateral or plurilateral WTO rules for digital trade and e-commerce.
