This own-initiative report concerns the MFF 2021-2027, the fight against oligarch structures, and protection of EU funds from fraud and conflicts of interest. The amendments focus on agricultural and cohesion funds, transparency on final beneficiaries and beneficial owners, the definition of active farmers, capping of direct payments, mandatory use of IT tools such as ARACHNE and the Early Detection and Exclusion System, and cooperation among OLAF, Eurojust and the EPPO.
