Trade related aspects and implications of COVID-19
This own-initiative report covers trade-related aspects and implications of COVID-19. The amendments stress the vulnerability of global supply and value chains and asymmetric effects on least developed and developing countries, and call on the Commission for a sustainable multilateral trade response, deeper EU-Africa trade relations through economic partnership agreements, 'green corridor mechanisms' for essential goods, diversification including reshoring, and enforcement of Trade and Sustainable Development chapters.
