Summary

This is an implementation report on on-farm animal welfare. The amendments discuss livestock and industrial farming, animals as sentient beings under the TFEU, revising welfare legislation, antimicrobial resistance, the Farm to Fork Strategy and Green Deal, greenhouse gas emissions, zoonotic diseases, the One Health and One Welfare approaches, plant-based diets, the 'End the Cage Age' initiative, and consumer demand for higher welfare standards.
