Summary

A proposal for a recommendation on EU relations with Belarus. The amendments react to the 9 August presidential election, describing it as fraudulent, and condemn the regime's violent repression of peaceful protests, detentions, torture, the death penalty, and treatment of the National Coordination Council and President-elect Tsikhanouskaya, while framing relations within the Eastern Partnership and Partnership Priorities.
