Summary

This own-initiative report concerns maximising the energy efficiency potential of the EU building stock. Amendments shape the renovation wave under the European Green Deal as part of post-COVID-19 recovery, addressing energy poverty, the Circular Economy Action Plan and construction waste, the role of the ETS and national energy and climate plans, jobs, and reducing energy demand with renewables.
