Summary

This dossier sets out an EU legal framework to halt and reverse EU-driven global deforestation. The amendments address primary and secondary forests, sustainable forest management, due diligence and deforestation-free supply chains for commodities such as palm oil, soy, beef, cocoa, coffee, timber and rubber, the EU Timber Regulation, FLEGT, the Renewable Energy Directive and indirect land-use change, certification schemes, indigenous peoples' rights, and consumption patterns.

90 roll-call votes

In plenary, Parliament usually votes in steps: first on amendments to the text (sometimes split into parts, so Members can accept one half of a sentence and reject the other), then on the text as a whole. The “main vote” is the one that adopts or rejects the text itself. Each vote below shows exactly which step it was. How voting works →
