Summary

This own-initiative report concerns multilateral Weapons of Mass Destruction arms control and disarmament regimes. Amendments cite the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and its review conferences, the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons, the INF Treaty, the JCPOA and Council decisions, and revise recitals describing arms-control architecture, the humanitarian and environmental consequences of nuclear weapons, the weakening or dismantling of Cold War-era treaties, and the EU's Strategy against Proliferation of WMD.
