Summary

This dossier concerns the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control. Framed by the WHO declaration of the COVID-19 pandemic, the amendments strengthen the Centre's mandate for surveillance, preparedness and response to cross-border health threats, addressing communicable diseases, antimicrobial resistance, source inspections in Member States, cooperation with the European Medicines Agency and WHO, an EU Health Task Force, and the budgetary impact on the MFF.
