Protection of workers from the risks related to exposure to carcinogens or mutagens at work
The dossier concerns protection of workers from the risks related to exposure to carcinogens or mutagens at work, amending Directive 2004/37/EC. Amendments extend the scope to reprotoxic substances, set or revise binding occupational exposure limit values for substances including acrylonitrile, nickel compounds and benzene, address dermal absorption and combined exposures, work-related cancer and compensation, transitional periods, and protections for vulnerable, posted and healthcare workers, with a gender perspective.
