Summary

This resolution addresses the 2019 UN Climate Change Conference (COP 25) in Madrid. Amendments cite IPCC special reports including 'Global Warming of 1.5°C', World Meteorological Organisation statements, the Paris Agreement and the EU's INDC committing to at least a 40% domestic reduction in greenhouse-gas emissions by 2030 compared to 1990, record global temperatures and carbon emissions, fossil-fuel subsidies, biodiversity, and the link between environment, sustainable development and gender.
