Own-initiative report on the implementation of the directives on procurement in the fields of defence and security and on the transfer of defence-related products (the Defence Package). Amendments highlight the directives' aim of integrating the EU defence supply chain and the internal market for defence goods, the Commission's 2016 evaluation reports, industrial overcapacities and fragmentation, national defence budget cuts, the sovereignty of arms sales, and the COVID-19 context.
