Financial activities of the European Investment Bank - annual report 2019

2019/2126(INI)·9th term·BUDG / ECON·INI - Own-initiative procedure·CompletedProcedure completed
Rapporteur (the Member appointed to lead Parliament's work on this text): CORMAND David (Verts/ALE)
Summary

A report on the financial activities of the European Investment Bank for 2019. The amendments debate the EIB's risk-taking and support for SMEs, and turning sections of the EIB into a climate bank — raising the share of financing for climate action to at least 50% by 2025, aligning activities with the Paris Agreement, and ending financing for most fossil-fuel projects; they also address the European Fund for Strategic Investments.

28 roll-call votes

In plenary, Parliament usually votes in steps: first on amendments to the text (sometimes split into parts, so Members can accept one half of a sentence and reject the other), then on the text as a whole. The “main vote” is the one that adopts or rejects the text itself. Each vote below shows exactly which step it was. How voting works →
