Summary

Budgetary procedure on mobilising the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund for redundancies in the retail trade sector in Belgium. Amendments acknowledge that retail trade is changing due to globalisation, e-commerce and online shopping, that the coordinated package of personalised services was drawn up by Belgium with social partners and trade unions, and propose anticipating labour-market developments, NEET integration and means through the Council of Europe Development Bank.
